On this page we’ll describe how to deploy a batch of Genus devices to a community.

<aside> 💡 To deploy Genus devices in bulk you’ll need the following:

1 Business Portal

Go to the Business Portal and login with your account.

1.1 Create a customer

If the customer you want to deploy Genus devices for doesn’t exist yet in the Genus Business Portal, you’ll need to create a customer first.

Create a customer by going to your Reseller account and clicking the + Add button.

A popup will appear asking you for input. Fill in the details and click the Save button.

1.2 Create a community

<aside> 💡 Every physical location of the customer should have a community. Say the customer has 3 physical locations in different cities than you should create a community for each of their locations. (e.g. “Company | Location 1”, “Company | Location 2”, “Company | Location 3”)

When you go to the customer, you’ll immediately see a list of communities the customer has. To create a new community click the + Add button.
